Benefits of Krishak Bandhu Scheme

Direct Income Support

• Farmers owning one acre or more of cultivable land receive ₹10,000 annually, paid in two equal installments of ₹5,000 each (for Kharif and Rabi seasons).

• Farmers with less than one acre of cultivable land are provided support on a pro-rata basis, with a minimum of ₹4,000 per year, disbursed in two installments.

Death / Disability Benefit

• In case of the death of a farmer (18–60 years) enrolled under the Krishak Bandhu scheme, the legal heirs are entitled to a one-time grant of ₹2,00,000.

• A farmer suffering from permanent disability due to an accident also becomes eligible for a one-time grant of ₹2,00,000.
